High gloss lacquer complete kit. A perfect equipment to varnish the bodywork paint with 2k polyurethane lacquer.
Buying this item you will find in the packaging:
-one 100 ml pot of 2k High Gloss Lacquer (100 ml are equal to one 400 ml spray can)
- one pot of its catalyst
- one small measuring glass to help you in mixing quantities of lacquer and catalyst
- one Spray Gun
- one Handle Magnum to be applied to the Spray Gun.
The high gloss lacquer of this kit is ideal to protect any paints in a professional way and particularly bodywork paints, car and motorbike touch up paints: it is a polyurethane lacquer, very resistant to alcohol, fuel and partially to solvents too.
PREPARATION AND USE: It is a two-component Lacquer, so lacquer and catalyst must be combined. This mixing must be made only at the moment of use: the mixture lasts about 2 hours (20°C). Prepare the mixture combining 2 parts of lacquer and 1 part of catalyst (ratio 2:1). To use it with our Spray Gun: dilute the mixture with polyurethane thinner, for example with our POLI60, and for information about the quantities look at the Technical Details below. A Spray painting test is recommended. Spray at about 20-25 cm distance. Apply a coat of paint spraying both in horizontal and vertical way, crossing the two directions. If necessary, you can repeat the process after 5-15 minutes (always when the paint is not completely dry). For further details about drying time go to the Technical Details below.
NOTE: For further information about our Spray Gun - small painting equipment : it works as an usual painting gun: you can use it several times after you have cleaned it with nitro solvent. With one propellant sprayer you can spread up to 500 ml of paint.
TO REMOVE THE VARNISH (before the paint drying) USE ACETONE AND/OR NITRO THINNER.

Drying time:
- dry dust free (at 20°C and 60% RH) 15-20 min
- dry to the touch (at 20°C and 60% RH) 30-60 min
- dry in depth (at 20°C and 60% RH) 48 hours.
